Las Catalinas has partnered with Ad Astra, one of Costa Rica’s leaders in sustainable electric mobility, as well as Purdy Motor and Toyota, to bring the zero-emissions, hydrogen-powered Toyota Mirai to town as part of a car-sharing service. Thanks to the groundbreaking work being done at Ad Astra, the hydrogen fuel is produced from entirely sustainable sources. The Mirai has a range of 500 kilometers, constituting a major step forward for renewable transportation in Costa Rica.
